CBD Punjab Welcoming 2025 as the Year of Sar Bulandi: A Vision of Progress and Pride

As we step into 2025, CBD Punjab proudly ushers in the “Year of Sar Bulandi,” a resolution that finds its roots in the highly successful “Raho Sar Buland,” an idea launched in August, 2024. This ideology resonated deeply with people across Pakistan, fostering a sense of national pride and inspiring collective hope for a brighter future. The Year of Sar Bulandi builds upon this momentum, symbolizing unwavering commitment to progress, innovation, and excellence.

Celebrating Transformative Achievements

CBD Punjab has consistently demonstrated its ability to redefine urban landscapes and drive economic growth. The past year, 2024, was a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence. From launching groundbreaking projects to fostering strategic international collaborations, CBD Punjab has set new benchmarks in urban development.

From remodeling of the Kalma Underpass to the construction of the Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Flyover, PCBDDA has revolutionized Lahore’s infrastructure. Key achievements include the near completion of the Walton Road Upgradation Project, the inauguration of CBD Route 47 with six-lane Walton Railway Crossing Flyover, and the unveiling of the Lahore Global Village (LGV). Each of these projects reflects our mission to enhance connectivity, promote sustainability, and create vibrant spaces for community engagement.

A Vision Realized: CBD NSIT City

A cornerstone of our progress is the development of CBD NSIT City. Spanning over 800-acres, this ambitious project is set to become Pakistan’s premier IT and innovation hub. Divided into three districts, the IT, Education, and Film District, CBD NSIT City is designed to position Punjab as global leader in technology, education, and creative industries. The inauguration of the Silicon Block and Astra in 2024 marked the beginning of a transformative era for Pakistan’s tech infrastructure.

Strengthening Global Partnerships

CBD Punjab has made significant strides in building international partnerships. The signing of 16 MoUs in a single day with tech companies, universities, and software houses underscored our ability to attract global attention. The historic showcase of CBD NSIT City on the Times Square, New York, further elevated Pakistan’s profile on the global stage, highlighting our potential as an emerging economic powerhouse.

Driving Economic Growth

2024 witnessed record-breaking achievements in fast-tracking land transfers, high-value auction for CBD Business Bay, and groundbreaking infrastructure projects. The construction of High-Q CBD Tower and Zameen Arx marked a significant leap in urban development, blending sustainability with architectural innovation.

The Year of Sar Bulandi: Charting a Path Forward

As we embark on 2025, the Year of Sar Bulandi symbolizes a renewed commitment to delivering on our promises and driving sustainable progress. Derived from the spirit of the Raho Sar Buland, this resolution embodies our dedication to excellence and innovation. It is celebration of the collective efforts that have brought us this far and a rallying call to continue striving for greater heights.

With each milestone, CBD Punjab reaffirms its role as a catalyst for change, transforming urban landscapes and shaping Pakistan’s economic future. Together, we look forward to a year of groundbreaking achievements, inspired by the ethos of Sar Bulandi – Raho Sar Buland!
